I created the base for an ongoing inventory management optimization via
Analysis of the current product portfolio, delivery performance and process errors;
A new product categorization to suit the current situation incl. safety stocks and order cycle;
Implementation of a new, listing-based retail forecast to increase accuracy despite large fluctuations when starting retail deliveries;
Suggestions for product portfolio optimization incl. renegotiations of delivery leadtime and minimum shelf life;
Identification and prioritization of other levers to reach more forecasting and supply chain reliability quickly by addressing the most pressing challenges first.
My personal motivation
My mission is to enable a successful start and scale-up of new impactful projects like during my work as COO at the food start-up JOKOLADE, but for more than just one project. Simply because there is so much that needs to be changed for the better in our world right now.
The underlying motivation was and still is my objective to maximize my personal impact and use my strengths in one of the best ways possible to make our world a better place to live in for anyone.
When one day I am in a position to use my time and energy as effective as possible for a positive and sustainable impact, I will have reached my vision as a freelance consultant. This is the point when I can decide completely impact-prioritized which projects are the best to support and when I am able to afford doing so “pro bono” for non-profit-organizations.
