1) Have a clear purpose & values
Find and define your organization‘s purpose based on Simon Sinek‘s Golden Circle: „WHY“ the organization is existing.
Create a gross strategy „HOW“ to work on the „WHY“ .
Summarize „WHAT“ the organization is currently working on – which products and services it is offering.
Decide your organization‘s values with your team to have „guardrails“ to keep you on the right track towards your WHY.
Output: „WHY“ = Purpose and values

2) Analyze & focus on effective levers
Brainstorm potential impact levers considering your gross strategy.
Analyze quantitatively how effective these impact levers could be.
Check these impact levers if they are the right thing to do in the long-term
Summarize the organization’s strategy with the right effective levers
Output: „HOW“ = The most effective levers that are the right thing to do (your strategy)

3) Use fitting products & goals
Find first approaches to work on the effective levers based on your core competencies.
Conceptualize products / services and projects to work on the effective levers.
Create OKRs to set and track your targets, and create a clear plan with single steps to work on.
Output: „WHAT“ = Products / services and concrete objectives to work on
